We recommend to apply gel topcoat or regular topcoat to handle so it will be more protected with use as monomer and other chemicals can get on it and damage the handle bristles/ferrule only can handle monomer.

This brush is the real deal. Easy to clean real kolinsky. Keeps the shape when taking care of. I use Glamour brush cleaner to clean acrylic,gel and polygel. Even stubborn dried gel/acrylic can be cleaned out of the brush with Glamour brush cleaner. Buy it all. You won't be disappointed
